Origins

Who we are

We are the result of a rich

and diverse heritage, blending

the bounty of our land with the

inspirartion of our Italian roots.

Since 2007,

we have been committed to perfecting the art of producing the finest quality olive oil. Inspired by Italian traditions, we cultivate our olives in the land of San Juan, Argentina, where the sun and soil provide the ideal conditions for an exceptional product.

At Oligio

We believe that every bottle tells a story. A story of effort, dedication, and respect for nature. Our olives are hand-picked using traditional methods passed down through generations to ensure that every drop of our oil captures the purity and authentic flavor that define us. The name OLIGIO honors all the Italian culture and tradition that we carry in our hearts.

sustainability

We are care about

the planet.

Sustainable agricultural production

We grow crops under strict organic certification standards, guaranteeing a product free of harmful chemicals and respectful of the environment. Our commitment to the land is reflected in the use of automated irrigation equipment and humidity sensors, which allow us to supply only the water that plants need. This technology not only optimizes the use of water resources but also prevents waste, contributing to the conservation of this vital element.

Renewable energy in industry

At our olive oil processing plant, we have taken another step toward sustainability. We use olive pits as a renewable energy source, completely eliminating the use of gas in our processes. This innovation not only reduces our carbon footprint but also allows us to transform a byproduct into an efficient and planet-friendly energy solution.

traceability

Management, safety

and control at every step.

To bring the best possible quality to you,
we have a set of pre-established and self-sufficient procedures that allow us to track the movement history of our products.

01. Production

We harvest our own raw materials on our farm located in the Andean foothills. The environment is ideal for growing olives due to its dry, temperate, and semi-arid mountain climate, with wide temperature ranges. Furthermore, the natural environment surrounding the olive grove creates an ideal ecosystem for the activity.

02. Washing and processing

Once the olives are picked from the trees, they are immediately sent to the processing plant. This eliminates the possibility of contamination, enhancing their quality and flavor. Once transported to the plant, they are washed without chemicals. In this process, the leaves and branches are separated from the olive grove. The olives are then thoroughly crushed by automatic, variable-speed hammers. Finally, the olive paste is blended and centrifuged at 20 degrees to extract the oil, which is then purified with organic ingredients that extend its shelf life.

03. Storage and transportation

Oligio's distribution chain professionals play a key role in ensuring that quality products reach consumers. To achieve this, we develop accurate demand forecasts that adapt production and shipping to the warehouse to optimize storage and final delivery times.

CERTIFICATION

Our USDA Organic Seal

At Oligio, we believe in quality that comes from the earth in its purest form. That’s why we earned the USDA Organic certification — a seal that is much more than a logo on our bottle; it’s a commitment to you and to nature.

What does this mean in practice?

Naturally cared-for olive trees: Our olive trees grow without the use of pesticides or synthetic fertilizers. Instead, we enrich the soil with sustainable methods such as composting and planting cover crops to keep it healthy and fertile. This not only nourishes the roots of our olive trees but also helps protect groundwater from any type of contamination.

100% pure process

From the moment we harvest the olives until the oil reaches the bottle, we preserve its purity. At the mill, all equipment is thoroughly cleaned before each batch, and organic oil is stored in separate, clearly labeled tanks to ensure no mixing with other products. Extraction is 100% mechanical, with no chemicals or additives.

Commitment to the ecosystem

USDA certification requires us to maintain biodiversity and protect natural resources. With every bottle of Oligio, you support practices that promote a diverse ecosystem, such as using buffer zones to protect our fields and applying natural pest control to maintain environmental balance.

"The USDA Organic seal is your guarantee that you’re choosing an oil that is not only delicious and healthy but also produced ethically and sustainably."
